River of life ministries
River of Life Ministries was birthed from a divine encounter in 2002, when Mapy, while living in Leicester, was prompted by the Spirit of God to go out late at night and walk through the town centre. As he walked, he was deeply moved with compassion for the people he encountered. In that moment, God reminded him of His profound love for every individual and His desire for each person to have a personal relationship with Him.
During this encounter, the Spirit of God spoke to Mapy through Ezekiel 47:9: “Swarms of living creatures will live wherever the river flows. There will be large numbers of fish, because this water flows there and makes the salt water fresh; so where the river flows everything will live."
This powerful revelation became the foundation and inspiration for River of Life Ministries. In 2003, by the grace and guidance of God, Mapy and his wife, Golda, officially established the ministry. Since then, River of Life Ministries has been privileged to organise numerous gospel events, crusades, women’s conventions, and leadership conferences. Through these gatherings, lives have been transformed, souls have been won, and the Kingdom of God continues to be advanced.
River of Life Ministries remains committed to spreading the life-giving message of the Gospel—bringing hope, restoration, and spiritual renewal wherever the river flows.
